First Photos of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon From Ghostbusters

The new ghostbusters, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones, started shooting Paul Feig’s reboot in Boston this week and we have the first set photos!

Plot details for the movie came out earlier this week and the latest synopsis according to a report from io9.com, tells us, “Wiig and McCarthy play a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. Flash forward a few years and Wiig lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia U, which is pretty sweet, until her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Wiig reunites with McCarthy and the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers, and she gets some sweet revenge when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.”

Sounds pretty solid. Especially when we add in the first look at MelissaMcCarthy, Kristen Wiig and KateMcKinnon in character. McCarthy and Wiig seems to be pulling off the nerdy, acadamia look with McKinnon more New York, boho punk in her paint splattered overalls.

Receptionist Chris Hemsworth has not been sighted yet but we will keep watching the internet for you.

The Ghostbusters reboot will hit theaters July 22, 2016.
