Justin Bieber: Next Chapter is a 30-minute docu-series, which takes a look at how Justin overcame his past demons.  Justin shares, “There were times when I was really, really suicidal.  Really like, ‘Man, is this pain ever gonna go away?’ It was so consistent. The pain was so consistent. I was just suffering … like, ‘Man, I would rather not feel this than feel this.  I would just encourage people, hey, if you’re feeling lonely, talk about it. Say it out loud. There’s a freedom in that,” says Bieber. “I could have avoided a lot of pain.”

For many years, Justin faced a huge amount of hardships.  In the documentary Justin advises, “It’s so hard to show your weakness, but acknowledging your weakness allows you to grow.”  Back in March of 2019, Justin opened up with fans in an Instagram post about ‘struggling a lot’ and ‘feeling super disconnected and weird,’ “I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks … the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on.”

Justin then talked about his relationship with God, which allowed him to have overwhelming confidence, “I just would encourage people, like, ‘Hey, if you’re feeling lonely, talk about it. Say it out loud.’ There’s a freedom in that. I could have avoided a lot of pain.”

Justin also gushed over his wife, Hailey, and their marriage while in quarantine,  “Her and I have really big lives. Hailey is such a driven person, I’m such a driven person and so it allowed us to take a step back and focus on each other. That was actually really a beautiful thing.  Hailey really empowers me and enables me to feel like Justin.  I love you for you, you are enough, and that enables me to go into my workspace and be confident and feel like I’m enough. I feel like we’re just learning how to navigate the relationship. I mean, we’re now two years in.”

Justin Bieber: Next Chapter is the follow-up to Sessions, released in February via YouTube Originals.
