Time for another food recall!

Nature’s Path brand Coconut & Cashew Butter Crunchy Granola is being recalled due to possible Listeria contamination. It’s the 720-gram packages, with the best-before date of March 2, 2018,

 

The recalled item was Costco in several provinces including Manitoba. The affected products will this UPC number: 58449172192 

 

So far there have been no reported illnesses linked to the granola according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The do say that if you have the affected product packages should be thrown out or returned to the store where purchased.

 

Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk.
