What's Trending: New Fan Theory About the "Titanic" Movie

As far as fan theories go, this one is somewhat believable!

A few weeks ago there was this crazy fan theory revolving around GREASE the movie! Today a new fan theory that actually seems quite possible has popped up regarding Titanic.

Someone on Reddit who had some time on their hands thinks that, while on board the famous ship, Rose suffered a psychotic episode and imagined Jack. If you think back to the the beginning of the movie, Rose definitely wasn’t  happy. She was engaged to that guy she hated, her family had fallen on hard times, her mom was mean, and THEN she met Jack…and he convinced her not to end it all. The fan theory explains that Jack is the embodiment of Rose’s inner strength and resourcefulness.

And if you think back…there was never any record of Jack being on the boat, and when an older Rose is told that she said, “No, there wouldn’t be, would there?” – though he reportedly won his ticket in a poker game. Interesting…but there are a few plot holes in the theory. For instance:

Does this mean Rose drew that portrait of herself?

Why did other people acknowledge Jack?

Maybe we should focus on why Jack didn’t get on that piece of debris and float away with rose to be rescued??
